Nursing experience helpful but not required. The Individual must be able to Multi-Task while managing a number of referrals, verify benefits, and obtain authorization from Case Mangers in a very fast paced environment. The Applicant must be able to effectively communicate with Insurance & Hospital Case Managers, Clinical Liaisons and Facility Admissions Personnel; they should also be able to work independently, as well as, part of a Team. The right person should have knowledge and experience with Managed Care, Medicare, Medicaid and E-Discharge, as well as, a good understanding of the overall Admissions Process. The Candidate must have excellent time management & organizational skills, as well as being able to prioritize and meet deadlines. Computer experience is Required. .
