JOB SUMMARY:

Operating as a member of the GN Netcom Inc sales team, the Business Development Rep is responsible for developing identified resellers in assigned Mobile Bluetooth territory and growing overall territory revenue. The candidate will aid in the development and penetration of the key channels within the Jabra Mobile Division with specific emphasis on the Carrier Indirect Channel and E-commerce.
The Business Development Rep will also prospect, generate leads and close end-user business while driving to uncover new large account opportunities. She/He will execute on assigned sales plans and achieve phone and activity metrics to increase product exposure and sales revenue.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Primary Goal – Develop, grow and close revenue within assigned accounts, pre-identified
existing reseller base, and new end users within assigned territory(s)
• Develop and maintain pipeline of end user opportunities
• Increase revenue in assigned national accounts and prospects
• Achieve overall territory POS goal
• Develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve or exceed the company’s target growth and
margin requirements
• Achieve or exceed established target revenue, margin and other KPI’s
• Identify, pursue and close new end-user opportunities within the territory
• Solicit and obtain referrals from reseller partners and end users
• Prospect for new end user business through cold calling
• Establish and maintain top-level contact with key decision makers within reseller and end user
accounts
• Establish, maintain and track an end user pipeline
• Engage field rep where appropriate
• Analyze factors in the marketplace to formulate forecasts, estimates and projections that
impact selling initiatives.
• Be accountable for accurate and comprehensive sales planning and forecasting
• Establish strong relationships with customers and colleagues
• Perform other related tasks or duties as required or assigned


The successful candidate will have a Bachelors degree plus 2-3 years of business development or inside sales experience selling to end user and resellers. Must have ability to cold call, qualify leads and follow-up to build new business and meet or exceed sales quotas. Experience with telecommunications/high tech products preferred. Proficiency using customer contact software, Excel, PowerPoint and Word is required.
