Under the direction of the Global Director of Human Resources based in Delft The Netherlands, this person will oversee an HR team of two remote HR generalists and one HR admin. in carrying out policies relating to all phases of human resources activities at Exact’s multi-locations. These duties include but are not limited to: benefits administration, HRIS data management, employee relations (grievances, complaints, etc.), maintaining personnel and medical files, ensuring compliance with regulations, performing research, preparing and generating reports, advising staff on the interpretation of personnel policies, practices, procedures, rules, benefits and programs and working on special projects as needed.
Detailed Duties and Responsibilities:
• Identifies legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources
functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting in compliance.
• Keeps records of benefits plans participation such as insurance and pension plan, personnel
transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and terminations
• Advises management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues.
• Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.
• Administers performance review program to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity
organization.
• Answers questions regarding benefits programs such as life, health, dental and disability
insurances, pension plans, vacation, sick leave, leave of absence, and employee assistance.
• Conduct wage surveys within labor market to determine competitive wage rate.
• Prepares employee separation notices and related documentation, and conducts exit interviews
to determine reasons behind separations.
• Represents organization at personnel-related hearings and investigations
Qualifications:
• 5 years working as a Human Resources Generalist
• 10 years as a Human Resources Manager in a matrixed reporting line and global hr team
• Human Resources Certification (MA HR)
• Ability to interface with all levels of an organization and outside vendors
• Must be a highly organized and self-motivated individual able to handle multiple tasks and
meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
• Excellent oral and written communication skills along with strong computer skills including
Excel, Outlook and Word
• Demonstrate the ability to take initiative/ability to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and a level head
