Controller - Financial Planning - Cape Cod Five

Excellent opportunity for someone seeking a banking career with Cape Cod Five Cents Savings, a well established and respected 1.8 Billion asset community bank headquartered in Orleans. The successful candidate will have principal management responsibility for the Bank’s financial planning processes including: budgeting process, profitability measurement and business analytics, asset/liability modeling and reports, investment portfolio management and reports, insurance/risk management, and federal and state bank taxation.  This position reports to the E.V.P., Chief Financial Officer.

Position specifications for this opportunity include the following:

§  At least 8 years experience in all facets of bank accounting, investments, financial reporting, and staff management.

§  A background in profitability analysis and business analytics in banking or financial services or the strong desire to learn and implement a program.

§  Knowledge of banking and accounting compliance regulations including GAAP/RAAP.

§  Bachelor’s Degree in Business with a major in accounting/finance. 

§  Masters in Finance and Accounting or Business Administration is a plus.

§  Advanced computer and database management skills.

§  At least two years prior staff management experience.

§  Ability to be precise and to meet strict deadlines.

§  Excellent interpersonal, communication, and project management skills.
