Director of Residential Programs

About the Job



POSITION SUMMARY: The Director of Residential Programs is responsible for the
administration and management of Community Teamwork’s two (2) homeless family
shelters, the EA Scattered Sites Shelter Program, all associated housing
placement programs and CTI’s Domestic Violence Scattered Site Transitional
Apartment Program.



 



RESPONSIBILITIES:



·       
Provide
administrative support and oversight of homeless family shelters, the Housing Assistance
Program, emergency, preventive and supportive programs.



·       
Oversee
the ongoing development of social services, self-sufficiency components,
including case management activities. 



·       
Participate
in community partnerships and linkage development.



·       
Ensure
program compliance with funding source policies, regulations, goals and
objectives.



·       
Assist
in the development of overall program services, budgets and procedures.



·       
Supervision
of staff, including recommendations for hiring, termination, disciplinary action
and on-going supervision.



·       
Implement,
monitor and enhance procedures for maintenance of appropriate documentation,
internal and external referrals for services.



·       
Assist
the Associate Executive Director, as needed, in the preparation of grant
requests, the development of new initiatives and programs, and preparation of
required materials and reports.



·       
Participate
in local, state and federal policy planning as directed.



  • Attend, contribute and
    maintain ongoing membership in a standing CTI committee.


·       
Participate
as member of Key Management team which follows integrated interagency
decision-making model and attend scheduled Key Manager meetings.



·       
Other
duties as assigned.



 



Qualifications:



·        
Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s Degree
preferred



·        
Five (5) years experience in administration, human
services, homeless residential and transitional housing programs.



 



OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:



·        
Bilingual skills a plus (English/Spanish or
English/Khmer)
