Position Summary: 



  • Reporting to the Manager, Demand Planning, the Demand
    Planning Analyst will be responsible for the analyzing, tracking, and
    forecasting needs of the At-Home Retail Sales Division of Keurig. 


Supervisory Responsibilities:

Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:



  • Gather data from all pertinent internal and external
    sources to assist in creating an accurate monthly demand forecast
    representing requirements for production, with a strong focus on key
    customers
  • Work with Sales and Marketing to collect, determine
    impact and incorporate market intelligence (i.e. competitive activity,
    retail trends and trade/consumer promotional activity) into the forecast.
  • Review current POS (Point-of-Sale) trends, shipments,
    and inventory levels to provide in-depth analysis to adjust customer-level
    forecasts accordingly.


  • Work closely with production planning and distribution
    to identify short term demand changes and make appropriate adjustments to
    the forecast.
  • Assist in the management of the anticipated demand for
    new/seasonal products and/or new markets.
  • Maintain weekly tracking reports to monitor POS
    (Point-of-Sale), shipments against forecast, and product supply.


  • Track variances between existing forecasts, plans and
    actuals to provide guidance and assistance to understanding trends and
    future impact. 


  • Measure and monitor forecast accuracy and determine the
    causes of forecast variances.
  • Assist with forecast input at sku level into forecast
    tool.
  • Handle special projects and reporting as needed.  


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor’s degree and 2-5 years of experience in Supply
    Chain, Inventory Planning, Forecasting & Demand Planning
  • An understanding of the S&OP process.
  • Knowledge of the supply chain and the impact of demand
    planning on supply chain performance
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills and aptitude.
  • Strong computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft
    applications, particularly Excel and Access.
  • Strong communications skills, verbal and written
  • Strong customer orientation
  • Ability to uphold Safety standards, participates in
    Continuous Process Improvement on the job, and follows our business best
    practices.
  • Ability to get along with others, be punctual, and
    follow instructions.
  • Ability to follow Keurig policies and procedures.
