My client is a venture funded technology leader providing critical downstream processing solutions to the Biopharmaceutical community.  They have an immediate need for a talented Sales Engineer/Manager on the West Coast.  You will call on biopharmaceutical companies in your territory, conducting on-site demos of their leading, patented filtration and separations technologies, demonstrating the superior performance over the customer's current BioProcessing products and systems.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Engineering or Life Science (BS Chemical Engineering preferred) plus experience as an Applications Engineer and/or Sales Engineer for the BioProcess marketplace.  Knowledge of BioProcess separation, filtration and purification is essential.  Cross-flow filtration experience preferred.  Candidates with little to no sales experience, currently in an Applications or Process Engineering role in a downstream/protein purification capacity within a BioPharm company, and who have the skills, drive and desire to break into sales will be given serious consideration.
