This individual will operate in an empowered position with the BAE Systems Supplier Partnerships team to drive creative solutions in the Management of MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operation) contracts and strategies, and support Small Business programs.
Principal Responsibilities include:
- Team with the Electronic Solutions Indirect Sourcing group leveraging buying strategies to optimize supply base, delivering better services
- Proactively execute MRO agreements and strategies to meet related business support needs while driving Supply Chain cost reductions and lean initiatives
- Monitor and Interpret business needs in support of Statements of Work development and MRO service & supplies contract administration
- Support supplier business reviews to drive improvements and supplier alignment
- Active daily management of BAE Systems Small Business diversity supplier agreements; assess and report performance, developing trend data in support of initiatives, target opportunities, and deliverables
- Self motivated team player with positive state of mind
- Demonstrated ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines
- Ability to lead and influence cross functional teams and stakeholders
- Knowledge of FAR/ DFAR, and UCC Subcontracting protocols
- Minimum of 2 years MRO related Procurement experience
- Strong personal aptitude for contract management and support services agreements
- Business management related experience preferred
- Minimum 4 year degree required
- Security Clearance eligible
