Job Responsibilities:
' Develop functional test plans to support the implementation of product rate changes.
' Execute both manual and automated test plans in the facilitation of product rate changes.
' Analyze and report test results to SQA team leaders and Business Stakeholders.
' Adhere to strict underwriting and regulatory/compliance requirements.
' Communicate effectively with programmers and internal business associates.
' Continually work to improve the testing process.
' Follow up on all open items and meticulously document testing results.
' Create automation scripts to enhance product testing.
Qualifications:
' Experience in property and casualty insurance with specific emphasis on the rating functionality within personal lines automobile, homeowners and umbrella insurance, as well as a working knowledge of state rating regulatory requirements.
' 2+ years designing and implementing test plans, scripts, and scenarios.
' 2 + years of writing and executing QTP automated tests.
' HP Quality Center for requirements, test planning, defect tracking and business process testing.
' Knowledge of database concepts and queries.
' Knowledge of software testing principles, methodologies, and tools.
' Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
' Demonstrated willingness and ability to learn quickly.
' Experience in both manual and automated testing.
' Ability to write detailed defect reports.
' Ability to carry out scheduled plans and provide feedback to project team.
' Exceptional analytic and problem solving skills.
' SQA Certification a plus.
2+ years designing and implementing test plans, scripts, and scenarios.
2 + years of writing and executing QTP automated tests.
