Beltone New England consist of  49 brick and mortar clinics and 16 CVS satellite clinics throughout New England.  BNE currently employs 115   employees.

Position:
COMPUTER SUPPORT SPECIALIST

Description:

This is a great opportunity for one individual to hold the only/key position in the IT department by providing technical assistance to the corporate office and all 49 clinics by answering questions and resolving problems in person, via telephone or from a remote location. Also help with any networking issues that may arise within the company.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  •  Install or assist service personnel in installation of hardware and peripheral components such as monitors, keyboards, printers, and disk drives on companies premises.
  •  Loads specified software packages such as operating systems, word processing, and programs related to the hearing care industry.
  • Enter commands and observe systems functions to verify correct system operation.
  • Maintain and update BNE Intranet.
  • Manage the in-house/ help desk ticket system.
  • Responds to client inquiries concerning systems operation and diagnoses system hardware, software, and operator problems.
  • Train field and corporate staff on new policies, procedures and software usage.
  • Give access to new employees to work in specified operating systems.
  • Maintain knowledge of new developments in the IT world and incorporate pertinent technologies into future systems of the company.
  • Provide phone assistance to employees located in the field.
  • Maintain networks and systems to ensure maximum availability to resources.
  • Maintain proper security levels to the servers and shared resources.
  • Provide 24/7 company wide system support.
  • Capable of maneuvering in small spaces to set up equipment.
  • Travel to clinics as needed utilizing company car.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Computer Skills:
Microsoft Server Certified, Web Programming, Coding, Hearing Aid Fitting Software(Solus™)
