Job Description
Talent Development Manager
Responsibilities: BJ’s has just launched the BJ’s Leadership Academy, a tiered leadership and talent development curriculum for BJ’ Leaders. Primary responsibility is to facilitate the Leadership Academy curriculum for Field and Home Office Management Staff. These classes are held near our Club locations up and down the east coast, as well as in the Home Office in Natick, MA. When not facilitating courses, individual will create learning solutions which are linked to business needs and objectives, and will devise training effectiveness metrics. Individual will work with business partners to plan and implement company-wide initiatives to develop talent, improve bench strength, or to reinforce company culture and values. Additional responsibilities may include assisting with organizational assessments, interventions, succession planning processes, coaching and performance management. Will also perform other responsibilities as assigned. Requirements: Requires a minimum of 5-7 years experience in leading talent and leadership development programs and/or teams. Knowledge of adult learning theory, talent development methodologies and techniques, instructional design and excellent presentation skills required. Familiarity with Organizational Development theory and practices are desirable. A Bachelors Degree in English, Communications, or Education is preferred.
