SUMMARY


Advanced Solutions For Tomorrow, Inc., a growing high-tech DoD defense contractor company is currently seeking a flexible and highly organized individual to provide expertise and guidance concerning all security administrative functions IAW DoD National Industrial Security Program (NISPOM 5220.22-M) and ASFT Standards, Practices, and Procedures for over 110 employees.


 


Skills/Experience Required


·         Facility Security Officer DSS certification.


·         Five plus years of FSO experience.


·        In-depth understanding and knowledge of Executive Orders and DoD security regulations and directives as they pertain to the NISPOM 5220.22-M.


·         Required experience with e-QIP, JPAS, and ISFD.


·         Position requires candidate to have a U.S. Citizenship and an active/current favorable Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI).


·         Highly effective in written and oral communications with all personnel staffing levels.


·         Proven strong leadership, organization and time management skills.


·         Demonstrative ability to gather, analyze, interpret, and evaluate information from a variety of sources.


Basic Functions of the Job


Display sound knowledge of DoD security regulations. Provide support for the management of all aspects of security, including personnel security clearances, physical security, document control, visit requests, foreign travel, correct security deficiencies, special access requests, export control and all required reporting.


Utilize risk management principles to assist in developing industrial security programs that are rational, cost-effective, and threat-appropriate.


Administer security awareness training programs and briefings. Manage new employee briefings, exit interviews, and debriefings, investigate and report security violations, furnish incident reports, coordinate periodic reinvestigations, and prepare DD 254 Forms for subcontractors.


Administer comprehensive security education training programs, interface with government customers on security related issues.  Prepare and conduct refresher training, self inspections, and DSS audits.


Monitor and coordinate the export (ITAR) of products and services to ensure compliance.


GENERAL


 


The current FSO will provide traditional industrial security orientation and training.


 


This is not a security guard position.
