handling difficult and challenging residential and commercial construction/restoration projects.

professionals. This position includes: ESTIMATING, Business Development & Full Project Management.
Responsibilities:
• Develop scope of work and pricing for renovation and reconstruction projects resulting
from Fire, Water, Wind or Structural damage.
• Prepare a scope of work at the job site and then enter a detailed scope of work utilizing
(Xactimate), edit and present estimates in the established timeframes for primarily
restoration and insurance work and secondarily for renovation and remodeling projects.
• Review scope of construction work to be completed to determine the type of work,
basic materials, project duration and define the responsibilities for construction.
• Prepare a bid package (if needed) for each division of work to be performed, and solicit
pricing and performance commitments from pre qualified subcontractors for specialty
items.
• Prepare the estimate package for presentation and negotiation with the customer and
change orders as necessary to the Customer.
• Work with the Lead / Production Assistant on Change Orders, Additional Work and
job problems/concerns.
• Research material pricing associated with individual estimates and keep abreast of
general pricing issues, including preferred suppliers and subcontractors.
• Develop and maintain ongoing relationships with qualified subcontractors and actively
support effort to enlarge on our subcontractor base for project performance.
• Assist in preparing project-closing documents, including as-built drawings.
• Job Cost Analysis – review estimated to actual job costs reports to ascertain areas
needing improvement and to assist future pricing.
• Ability to budget, schedule and supervise (coordinate) your projects.
• Must not be afraid to “ask for the business”
Requirements:
• 2-4 years as an Lead carpenter, Remodeling Contractor or Senior Estimator,
• Experienced in estimating and/or project management.
• Ability to assess damage to structures and finishes of buildings to determine what must
be done to restore it to original condition.
• Must be highly organized and detail-oriented and can handle several projects at one
time.
• Excellent Customer Service attitude.
• Valid driver license.
• Knowledge of construction methods, equipment, schedules, contracts, specifications and
trades helpful.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills required.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills required.
• Excellent decision-making and problem solving skills.
• Ability to use analytic skills to make recommendations.
• Independent and self-disciplined.
• Must be comfortable with computers/technology.

Compensation & Benefits
• Salary base with commission (Min 55 hours per week)
